Your Degree. Your Way.

Live Webinar:

Join us on February 20th at 2:00 PM ESTfor a live webinar where seasoned homeschool dad and CHAP Chairman Steve Wayde and education thought-leader Woody Robertson from Unbound (formerly CollegePlus), a division of Lumerit Education discuss how parents and students can avoid making 5 common mistakes while planning for college.

The words affordable, efficient, and effective aren't typically associated with college. But they can be accurate descriptors of your student's college experience.

Join us on February 20, at 2:00 PM EST as we discuss the best ways to navigate the college decision.

We’ll discuss common flawed thinking like:

  • Expecting to go into debt for college
  • Expecting college to train you for your career
  • Thinking you'll figure out what you want to do in college
  • Failing to prepare for the battle of worldviews
  • Not taking advantage of dual credit

Steve Wayde Board Chairman of the Christian Homeschool Association of Pennsylvania, has been involved in home school leadership since 2013. He and his wife Ginger are homeschooling their six children. Their oldest son is now considering dual-enrollment in college courses. Steve has been an IT Professional at Elizabethtown College for over 17 years. He enjoys investing his time into the lives of his children and encouraging the next generation to do the same.
